PPS COVID-19 Letter to Customers

In accordance with the Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19 Response, published by U.S. Department of Homeland Security on March 19, 2020, Powder Process-Solutions Inc. meets the guidance issued for “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers”.
As an “Essential Critical Infrastructure” we will continue to supply you with parts and service as quickly as possible. We also will continue to design, fabricate, assemble, test, and ship your customized equipment. Our suppliers have reported minimal supply chain interruptions to date.
We want to assure you that PPS is focused on the safety of our employees, customers, suppliers, and communities. We fully understand the gravity of this public health crisis. PPS has implemented measures to dramatically reduce the number of staff interactions and improve hygiene to protect our employees and the general public. We have augmented our IT infrastructure to enable employees to work from home, heightened housekeeping and sanitization efforts, committed to best practices of social distancing, all to attempt to mitigate risk for those employees who need to work within our facility.
We currently have ask our employees involved in travel related to/from customer sites to hold off until May 4th, which coincides with MN Executive order 20-20 directing Minnesotans to Stay at Home signed by Governor Walz effective 3-27-20 and updated on April 8th. The situation will be reevaluated at that time. To provide continued site support, employees will do what can be done via email, web meetings, VPN, and phone to be able to assist our customers with their site needs. We are hoping that this will aid in minimizing the potential spread of this disease.
